The many hours that we’ve spent in the Museu da Cidade, Arquivo Municipal Fotográfico and Videoteca de Lisboa allowed us the access to videos, images and exclusive contents that we show in the tour, about topics so different such as the siege of Lisbon, the conquest of the city and also the Great Exposure of the Portuguese World.

The Belém area, most of it World Heritage by Unesco, and the monuments run by the General Directorate of Cultural Patrimony (DGPC) were the main target of a precise historical research and the contects shown were validated by the DGPC. Also, the educational services of Museu dos Coches, Museu de Arte Antiga, Palácio Nacional da Ajuda and, of course, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Torre de Belém, who are a part of DGPC’s content were involved in the research and historical validation process.

Under the wing of Museu de Lisboa, a big contribution to this project were, either the Museu da Cidade – Palácio Pimentamuseu de Santo AntónioTeatro Romano or the Casa dos Bicos, places that have a ton of history to tell about this city.

And others like Santa Casa da Misericórdia, Museu de São Roque and Convento de São Pedro de AlcântaraÁguas de Portugal and the Museu da Água, in our many visits and filming in loco made to Mãe de Água and Galerias subterrâneasMuseu do Oriente and other educaiton services; Fundação Millenium BCP and the priviledged place of Núcleo arqueológico da Rua dos Correeiros, and many others.
